Front of House Team Member

We are a family-run UK business that operates food and beverage outlets at airports, creating exceptional experiences for all our customers.

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Big Smoke, Gatwick South Terminal, airside.

The site has a lively atmosphere with a family friendly approach. People are at the heart of what we do, and our staff are central to the success of our restaurants.

You will be a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic team player. You are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and passionate about food and beverages.

This is an hourly paid role with shifts available between 3 a.m. and 11.30 p.m. (split or double shifts are not required).

The role

To work effectively with the back of house team to provide first class table service with particular attention to hospitality and promotion of sales. This will include:

• Serving all customers in a professional, friendly and courteous manner and being alert to any requirements and concerns they may have
• Maintaining complete knowledge of all food and beverage products available

 We are looking for outgoing and engaging team players passionate about food and beverages.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• A good level of general education, including English and Maths
• A willingness to learn about health and safety/food standard requirements
• The ability to follow a process and maintain levels of service delivery under pressure

Salary and Benefits

£11.50 per hour applicable to all age ranges, PLUS:

• A 10% optional service charge distributed via Tronc (expected to be >£400 per month for full-time staff)
